Appointment of new Head of Supply Chain Management Services

Mr. Dickson A. Lugonzo, MCIPS, MKISM has been appointed as the Director of Supply Chain Management Services at the University. Dickson has over 17 years’ experience in public procurement having worked as a Head of Supply Chain Management at the State Department for Vocational and Technical Training, State Department for Livestock, Ministry of Health, State Department for Youth Affairs and the Department of National Registration Bureau (Ministry of Interior & Coordination of National Government). He has vast experience in managing   donor funded projects financed by donors like World Bank, AFDB, KFW and Global Fund.

He is a holder of a B. A Degree (UON) and Master Degree in Procurement and Logistics (JKUAT).

He has a Graduate Diploma in CIPS (UK). He has also undergone training in Strategic Leadership Development Programme (KSG) and attended procurement courses in Eastern and Southern Management Institute (ESAMI) in Mbabane, Arusha and Kampala

The Vice -chancellor Prof. Stephen Kiama has congratulated Mr. Lugonzo and asked him to bring his experience and professionalism to enhance efficiency in the management of the Supply Chain Services.
