Internal Audit department emerges the best in Central Administration Performance 2019/2020

In Central Administration the Internal Audit took the first position in Performance 2019/2020 while Open Distance and E-Learning and Graduate School took 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

The Ag Deputy Vice Chancellor, Finance Planning and Development (DVCFPD), Prof. Margaret Hutchison observed that the PC has helped the University to plan and work in one direction, measure the results and it has also improved efficiency in service delivery.

“PC has brought us together, solidified our vision and the culture of performance culture has been fully adopted as our way of life.” She noted.

Other categories that were ranked and awarded were schools without departments, teaching schools and faculties with departments, teaching departments and ODEL Regional Learning Centres. School of Arts and Design, School of Open and Distance Learning, Department of Educational Programmes and Meru Regional Learning Centre took position 1 in each of the categories respectively.

While congratulating the Winners, Prof. Margaret Hutchinson urged all the awardees to aim for excellence.

 The Ag DVC Research Innovation and Enterprise, Prof. Horace Ochanda, while moving a vote of thanks, noted the change in attitude towards PC over the years within the University Community and improvement in performance.
