‘It has been a journey, people have been seeing me this year but they have not seen the hardest part of the journey. One thing I would like to tell you, is, if you are playing sports, if you are doing anything, never give up. Never give up on anything that you are doing. There have been ups and downs here and there but all in all you have to keep persisting. I had no idea that it would take me five years to see my efforts bear fruit in the athletics career.”
