Preparations for 65th graduation ceremony underway

Preparations for the 65th graduation ceremony are in top gear as over 4200 graduates will be conferred Degrees and awarded Diplomas by the Chancellor, Dr. Vijoo Rattansi on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Great Court.

At the ceremony, Prof. Fredrick Namenya Were will receive a Doctor of Science Degree Award (DSC). He joins the ranks of five other professors who have achieved the coveted feat since the establishment of the University in 1970.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions, the graduands will follow the ceremony virtually. The ceremony which commences at 8.00 am will be aired by NTV Kenya and will be live on UoN Facebook and YouTube platforms. Graduands can also follow the proceedings via Zoom.
