Internal Audit department emerges the best in Central Administration Performance 2019/2020

In Central Administration the Internal Audit took the first position in Performance 2019/2020 while Open Distance and E-Learning and Graduate School took 2nd and 3rd positions respectively.

The Ag Deputy Vice Chancellor, Finance Planning and Development (DVCFPD), Prof. Margaret Hutchison observed that the PC has helped the University to plan and work in one direction, measure the results and it has also improved efficiency in service delivery.

CASELAP is crowned University’s overall best In Performance 2019/2020

Centre for Advanced Studies in Environmental Law and Policy (CASELAP) has been crowned overall winner in the Performance Contract 2019/2020.

This was revealed in the Friday Morning University’s Performance Contract award ceremony January 29, 2021. 

Meru regional Learning Centre followed closely and Department of Educational Programmes clinched position 3.

 

Dr. Stellah Mukhovi to Establish a Virtual Food Sustainability Academy at UoN

Dr. Stellah Mukhovi has won a Transformation Acceleration Grant (TAG) from Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF) to establish a Virtual Food Sustainability Academy (VFSA). The project will be implemented in four countries; Kenya (University of Nairobi), Nigeria (University of Nigeria), Colombia (Universidad Nacional de Colombia), Bolivia (COMPAS), and Switzerland (University of Bern).
