On Monday 12th Sept, 2022, the Internal Audit Department Team C held an opening meeting with the Recruitment department. From the Internal Audit department, in attendance was the Team leader Ms.Anna Muruingi who chaired the meeting, Ms.Irene Muihia, Mr.Jared Manono, Mr.Francis Musila. And Ms.Mary Mukuwa

From the Recruitment department was Ms. Mary Musyoki , Ms. Andrine Ireri and Mr. Edward Sibota  were also in attendance.

On 16th September 2022, the Internal Audit department held a departmental meeting which started at 2:00 PM and ended at 4:00 PM. The meeting was chaired by the Director Internal Audit assisted by the Deputy Director. In attendance was all of the Internal Audit staff members.

UoN has maintained its lead position in Kenya; ranked 14 in Africa and 1101 globally. This puts the University at the top 4% of all the universities ranked globally.

In Kenya, Kenyatta University followed at number 52, while Egerton University was ranked 74.

This was announced through the webometrics website in the ranking released in July 2022. 

South African Universities took position 1, 2 and 3 in Africa; University of Cape town, Witwatersrand and Stellen Bosch University respectively.
