City-wide Tree Planting Exercise

They say that little strokes feel big oaks.

When the Central Committee on National Cohesion and Values mooted a tree planting exercise, little did the organising committee believe that it would morph into a university wide exercise.

The Tree Planting, scheduled for  Tuesday May 18, 2021, has garnered support  from the Equity Bank Group who are supplying 5,000 seedlings , and the Kenya Forestry Services, who are providing the  technics for tree planting including species selection and placement.

Internal Audit is an independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve an organization’s operations. It helps an organization accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control and governance processes.

The department is headed by the Chief Internal Auditor who reports administratively to the Vice Chancellor and functionally to the Audit and Risk Management Committee of the Council
