The 3rd Research Week 2020 will be held on October 12 -16, 2020. The annual event, hosted by UoN, will feature 13 different conferences covering a diverse range of academic disciplines and is expected to bring together over 1,000 participants comprising researchers, scholars, students and practitioners from all over the world.
“Due to the corona virus pandemic, we will hold this year’s conferences virtually and participants will for the very first time interact virtually,” says Prof. Madara Ogot, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research, Innovation and Enterprise. “The University of Nairobi is making all the necessary arrangements to make this conference deliver a unique experience to the participants.”
The Conferences include the 2nd Annual International Conference on Project Planning and Management, 3rd Annual Architecture and Engineering Conference, 3rd Annual Conference on the Role of Literature in the Global World, the 3rd Annual Forensic Victimology and Victim Support Conference, 3rd Annual International Conference on Open, Distance and E-Learning, 3rd Annual Science for Sustainable Development Conference, 3rd Annual Conference on the Status of African Women, 2nd Annual Development Finance Conference, 5th Annual DBA-AMR International Conference, 11th Africa International Business Management Conference (AIBUMA), the Value of Information Governance, Leadership and Ethics in Higher Education Institutions webinar, 3rd Annual International Conference on Research and Innovation on Education and the 3rd Annual International Multi-Disciplinary Conference.
“The conferences will provide a forum to enable you to present your work, engage with your colleagues, and learn about the latest developments in your field. We call on you to submit your paper and also register to participate,” says Prof. Madara. “For students, especially PhD students, Research Week will provide an ideal forum to present and receive positive critique on your work before you submit it for journal publication, or before your dissertation defense.”
