TRAINING ON GLOBAL INTERNAL STANDARDS (GIS) FOR INTERNAL AUDIT STAFF BY THE INSTITUTE OF INTERNAL AUDITORS — KENYA

The Internal Audit staff attended the Global Internal Standards (GIS) training by the Institute of Internal Auditors - Kenya which was held on Friday, August 31st, 2024 from

8.30 a.m. to 5.00.p.m. at the Mahatma Gandhi Graduate School Library Boardroom.

The following topics were covered:-

1. Introduction to International Internal Audit guidance found in IPPF.
2. Transition to Global Internal Audit Standards.
3. Emerging Trends in Internal Audit.
