The University of Nairobi rises in the global rankings.

The University of Nairobi has improved its position in the QS World University Rankings 2025, moving into the 901-950 band globally. This is a step up from its previous placement in the 1001-1200 range in 2024.Within Kenya, UoN continues to lead, being the highest-ranked institution in the country and holding the 18th position in Africa among 40 universities on the continent featured in this year’s rankings. This accolade highlights its pivotal role in driving academic and research innovation regionally.
