The Internal Audit Department takes the number 1 position yet again in the recently concluded 2020/2021 PC!!!!

In the Performance Contracting and Staff Recognition Awards (for  2020/2021) held earlier today at Taifa Hall, the Internal Audit Department was awarded for taking the number 1 position in the Central Administration departments Category. The Director Internal Audit proudly received the trophy and the certificate of recognition from the Vice Chancellor on behalf of the department.

Opening meeting -Staff Houses

On 22nd February 2022, the Internal Audit Department Team A held an opening meeting with the Staff Houses department. From the Internal Audit department, in attendance was the Deputy Director Hannah Ndung'u who chaired the meeting, Ms Tecla Makau, Mr Felix Warutumo, Mr Victor Muasya and Ms. Gladys Mumbua.

From the Staff Houses department was Mr Thuita who left after a short while and appointed Mr, MIchael Agutu to represent him. Ms Violet Misiko , Ms. Defense Mwakondo and Mr. Stephen Nganga were also in attendance.

Closing Meeting FHS Report

The Internal Audit Department held a closing meeting today (9th Feb, 2022) with the Faculty of Health Sciences to discuss the draft report of the Audit that was done in the Faculty. The meeting was led by the Director Internal Audit, Mr. Kenneth Gitau assisted by the Deputy Director Internal Audit, Ms. Hannah Ndung'u. In attendance were Internal Auditors from Team A led by Ms Tecla Makau the team leader, Chairmen of the various departments in the Faculty, the registrar as well as the Dean, Dr Evelyn Gaceri.

Friday, January 14, 2022 will go down in history as the day the University of Nairobi switched on its channels signal; tagged UNC TV and UNC Radio.
